As we learn Affiliate Marketing, we find what works for our personalities to make money online and that same trained analytic’s proved Las Vegas Success for Sharri and I. With in 24 hours of landing in Vegas we won enough money in the next 48 hours to pay for our entire trip, just by following some simple rules we put together from learning the trial and error method the first 24 hours.

We learned what size Casino, time of day to start, how much to start with and how to build your winnings quickly…all with nothing but penny slots!!! I am not selling you on our method, but I know it works for us. Yet as we kept winning…it was the training I have for Affiliate Marketing that made it happen.

Analysis your work

So for those starting out, please remember to keep track of what you are doing and the results you are getting. The bottom line is you have to make a profit or it is no good. Start small with little or no money, then make it profitable. Re-invest your profit to grow your online business and over time you will become a success! It takes time and do not rush it, but stay consistent with your goals and focus on the mark!

The key to making money on the internet is a two step process I call Divert and Convert. Every profit seeking website on the internet uses this process (whether they realize it or not).

• Step 1: Divert Traffic from one location (point A) to another (point B).
• Step 2: Convert the diverted traffic from Step 1 into Profit.

There are many different ways to divert traffic including:

• Pay Per Click
• Article Marketing
• Press Releases
• Links from Other Websites
• Affiliate Promotions
• Email Lists

Just to name a few.

Likewise, there are many ways to convert this diverted traffic into profit including:

• Promoting Affiliate Products
• Hosting Content Network Ads (like Adsense)
• Building an Email List (which you can then use to promote products)
• Selling Your Own Product
• Pay Per Action
• Pay Per Lead
• etc., etc.

There are almost an unlimited number of combination’s of divert and convert techniques that you can use to make a profit. All you have to do is figure out a winning combination and you will make money — guaranteed.

This may sound a bit simplistic but “Divert and Convert” really is all you need to know to make money on the internet. Everything else is just window dressing.

Sure, it’s nice to have — and be able to use — Audio and Video and Autoresponders and Tracking Software and all the other wizbang gadgets and gizmos. And to be sure, most of these things will help you make more money IF you already have a winning Divert and Convert process in place. BUT if you ain’t got the Divert and Convert process working you’re not going to make any money.

Period. Game over.

Listen, I’ve made thousands of dollars from one simple email review of a product that had a link to an order form at the end. No audio. No video. No salesletter. Heck, I didn’t even have a website. I simply linked directly to the order form for the product. And made thousands.

Last year I James J. Jones made $3,489.07 from a silly little one page website that had an article and some Yahoo Publisher Ads.

Set a short term goal of making $100 per month, after three months set the goal at $500 and so on! When you purchase Private Label Rights or Master Resell rights, I recommend PLR and start stocking up on it.  Make sure you file it on your computer where it is easy to find. Plus, you will need an external hard drive to back up your information in case your computer crashes…you can still pull your information from the hard drive on another computer!
